These are a few of my favorite (FREE) things

With Myofascial Release we create space. Openess for our bodies to move more freely. Buoyancy between the joints, discs, vertebra. This is in part, one reason why we feel the "lightness" after receiving treatment. Those of us that have hade treatment know that we can effectively maintain that feeling for ages post treatment.

Especially if we self treat!

Carrying over the flow and softness we get with Myofascial release treatment is made easier with these complimentary FREE modalities.

I am partial to these two videos. I like the guides, pace and the way I feel after.

The first is Qigong. Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is a traditional Chinese medicine healing practice that’s believed to support mental, physical, and spiritual health through gentle movement, meditation, and breathing techniques. Cut and paste the link below

The second is Yoga. Yoga is a mind-body therapy that’s often recommended to treat not only back pain but the stress that accompanies it. The appropriate poses can relax and strengthen us.

Practicing yoga for even a few minutes a day can help you gain more awareness of your body. This will help you notice where you’re holding tension and where you have imbalances.

You can use this awareness to bring yourself into balance and alignment.

There are so many types of Yoga available. The kind of yoga I generally recommend is restorative Yoga. I particularly like Yoga with Adrienne, found on YouTube. She has sooo many free offerings.

Start slowly with these. Try either one, once a week at first. If it resonates, poke around until find what suits you. Let me know how it goes!

* if you have specific medical conditions or limitations consult your physician before starting any new exercise program.
